MOCNA People’s Choice Classes

There are often discussions among participants in our MOCNA car shows concerning what class a car should be entered in.  

Review the classification system below developed by our MOCNA Judging Team.

 

Stock: Classes A-F, segregated by year and convertible/hardtop body type

  • Appears like a stock Metropolitan
  • Stock Metropolitan color
  • Stock wheels, tires. (radial tire of appropriate size ok) Minimal personalization.

Custom: Class G-1, any year, any body type

  • Any British Motor Company Engine (MG, Met, Etc.) 4-cylinder
  • Non-Super-Charged
  • Non-Metropolitan Color
  • Non-Stock Interior

Modified: Class G-2, any year, any body type

  • Non-British Motor Company Engine (Ford, Toyota, etc.)  4-cylinder
  • Non-Super-Charged

Radical: Class G-3 any year, any body type  Super-Charged 4-cylinder

  • Non-4-cylinder, V-6, V-8, etc.
  • Non-Stock Chassis, Sub-frame, Uni-Body.
  • Non-Standard Body Panels (flares)

Tuesday 7/22

  • Evening Car Cruise-in @ Danish Brotherhood (4PM – 8PM)

Wednesday 7/23

  • Open House @ Alfano Performance AMC Speed Shop (11AM – 4PM)
  • Don’s Auto Parts & Machine Shop Seminars 10 AM – 3 PM
    • Tony Pontillo of Don’s Auto Parts & Machine Shop will be having a cookout at the machine shop. There will be parts for sale and a series of small seminars. Each seminar will be 15-20 minutes long.
  • Racing @ Great Lakes Dragaway (5PM)
  • Evening Car Cruise-in @ TBD (4PM – 8PM)
  • MOCNA Meet and Greet @ The Stella Hotel

Friday 7/25

  • Daytime Car Cruise-in @ TBD (10AM – 2PM)
  • Evening Car Cruise-in @ AMC Factory Site (4PM – 8PM)
  • MOCNA Board Meeting, Slow Drag Races

Saturday 7/26

  • 2025 Kenosha Homecoming Car Show Swap Meet @ Kennedy Park (8AM – 4PM)
  • MOCNA People’s Choice Car Show
  • MOCNA Awards Banquet and Live Auction at The Stella Hotel (6PM)
    • Each family is asked to bring one item for the Live Auction at the Banquet.

Sunday 7/27

  • Racing @ Great Lakes Dragaway (9AM)
